Messi & Argentina win 2022 FIFA World Cup!

LUSAIL, Qatar — Lionel A. Messi and Argentina have beaten France on penalties to lift the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Messi, missing only the World Cup in his massive trophy cabinet, netted twice, including in extra time to give Argentina a chance in the penalty kicks after France had taken the lead.

France came back to level a 2-0 lead by Argentina in regulation time and then the teams battled to a 3-3 draw after extra time.

Kylian Mbappe Lottin, who ended with a hat-trick and the golden boot, scored first but Messi levelled matters.

And so, up stepped the Argentine hero, Damián Emiliano.

The goalkeeper, nicknamed “Dibu,” sprung to his right to push away Kingsley Coman’s second spot-kick for France, after Messi and Mbappé had converted. He pranced around the penalty area, pumping his fist into the air. He then shimmied after his sheer size forced Aurelien Tchouameni, France’s next taker, to drag his penalty wide.

Marcus Thuram then scored for France, but Argentina had been perfect. Gonzalo Montiel scored the winner.

Messi has done it! Argentina have done it! They are world champions.

      few rows one side of the field used to host the fans will be the entire population of the BVI. For the BVI to host such. BVI TEAM have to make it to world cup and also win the world cup and then be consider on the list of hosting such an event. ALSO. we will need to build a field that can house over 500k people of close to 1m. It's a wishful thinking, but when making comments think about the little details before you do .

      I'm Argentinean. It is true that in the past there were blacks here and there was racism. I have black friends. A large part of the Argentine population is kind and open and hates racism. I'm sorry you have that image of my country where currently everyone is welcome. All the best
