DOHA, Qatar- Virgin Islands star hurdler and 2-time Diamond League champion Kyron A. McMaster finished third in a strong Men’s 400m Hurdles field at the Wanda Doha Diamond League in Qatar today, May 28, 2021.

McMaster clocked 47.82 to finish just behind winner Benjamin Rai of the USA who ran a time of 47.38 and Brazil’s Alison Dos Santos who was timed in 47.57 at the Qatar Sports Club.

The Virgin Islander McMaster, who set a new National Record of 47.50 in the 400m Hurdles at the 2021 USATF Golden Games Track Meet in Walnut, California on May 9, 2021, appeared to be in good form as he put himself in a good position coming into the home-straight.
