MIAMI, Florida, USA- Details of the plea agreements for Oleanvine Pickering-Maynard and her son Kadeem S. Maynard have been disclosed, with their sentencing slated for August 21.

The pleas confirm their acceptance of a 10-year minimum prison term, a potential fine, and at least five years of supervised release.

However, according to court records, should the Maynards comply with all five provisions of the "Safety Valve" agreement, their sentences could be reduced.

Fahie trial pushed back to November 1

This development comes as Judge Kathleen Williams has granted the trial of their co-defendant, ex-Virgin Islands Premier Andrew A. Fahie, to be postponed to November 1, 2023.

Mr Fahie is facing charges related to drug trafficking, money laundering, and racketeering.

The delay in trial was requested due to the prosecution's failure to reveal the identity of a confidential source, upon which substantial allegations in the case are built.

The defense has argued that this information is crucial for filing pre-trial motions.

The prosecution stated they are waiting for a court order instructing them to reveal the Drug Enforcement Administration’s confidential source's identity.

It remains unclear whether the confidential source will be called to witness when the trial commences.

Why would you pray for drug dealers? Do you pray for all the lives that would have been lost if their evil greedy plot had succeeded? Or for all the lives lost to gun violence in the name of drugs and greed? They do not deserve prayers. They deserve prison for a long long time. They deserve to never sleep a full night again.

Why not pray for them? God love extends to all. I am grateful that God is not like man. Absolutely NOTHING can separate them from the love of God. They need all the prayers they can get. No sin is greater than the other. Sin is sin! Thank God for grace, mercy and redemption that leads to transformation. We will be praying for you TOO.

Look how many young people and others that have lost their lives behind the greedy three. You need two good blows across your back with a bull bud. Talking about praying for Andrew and his drug gang. The pig in lipstick and her hog mouth son got 10 years, Orca the whale should get 20 years.

10 years is a long time for the Maynards. This is so sad, but they took the chance and now have to finish the dance. It may be reduced if they cooperate. As for Fahie, doesn't the word "CONFIDENTIAL" means to be kept secret? Can the court force the identity of the informant? If so, all informants might quit helping law enforcement agencies. I know neither one of them won't do that again in the future I hope.

True, confidential should remain “confidential” in its definition but what happen when the confidential source is a criminal him/herself with intent of harm? Entrapment is illegal and make it even worse, the criminal is working with both sides and fear his/her return to BVI if made public. Just saying, too many unsolved murders in the BVI. Follow the trail.

Entrapment cannot succeed if you are not a criminal taking the bait. You get caught up if you are greedy enough to take the chance.

One could only imagine what Head Coach will get if convicted. He is potentially facing life. He needs to think real hard before his upcoming trial in November. Plea or roll the dice.

Now I doubt the Maynard's will do the full 10. I see 5-7 with good behavior and cooperation. If they are not US citizens they will be deported and any supervised release will be a matter for local authorities to carry out.

Its a sad situation these people have placed themselves in. Much of their lives will be over when this saga is finally over as they will be much older people with what was left of their working lives over.

I hope people who wanna be in that line of business are taking notes. This is what can happen to you if you get caught. Get out while you can. Turn your life around before its too late.

The consequences you can face for quick money are either death or a jail cell. Pick your poison if u continue know these odds, but it does nit have to be that way. Get out now.

Yes what the Maynards did was horrible but I'm not going to kick someone when they're down. Yes I will pray for them because none of us is without sin. There are others here who may not be guilty of being in the drug trade but benefit from it. Their bf or other family members in it. They enjoying the big houses and cars but going in the church and jumping up. A lot of people benefited from Andrew and his shenanigans over the years. They better pray their names ain't get called up.

Have so many court case connected to it, both here locally and USA with the Maynard and Fahie. The local cases must be waiting on the outcome of those to start these here locally.

So all connected here enjoy freedom while you can because come November things will get crazy.

Head coach can not ask for another extended time. The trial must start then. I do wish him a fair trail but not looking good.

And I hope those linked here are also charged and jailed heavy time too.

Can’t believe that most of you is still out here praying for a man that took bread out of innocent children’s mouths when he terminated a mothers employment during the Christmas holidays, Black list a man from obtaining any job on the Island. When he was sitting in the back of the pick up truck bouncing up and down like a two ton water buffalo singing Christmas carols the truck should have drop in a pot hole and send his arze bouncing like a basket ball on the side of the road. I would agree when he was on his knees with his hands waving in the air about he praying for the country, he needed a good swift kick from behind with steel toe boots sending his arze flying down the hill landing in a patch of poison ivy or stinging nettle.
