ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) is encouraging everyone to spread love this Christmas and pray for those around the world who are not enjoying peace.

In his holiday message to the territory, Dr Wheatley said one theme that runs through all our Christmas traditions is that of love- love for family and friends and love for the people in our community.

“In a world that is filled with hate and violence as we are seeing in so many countries abroad, a country that has love peace and harmony is blessed. This Christmas let us take a moment to reflect on our blessings and to give thanks.”

Dr Wheatley also urged everyone to resolve to do their part to spread love and happiness at home and abroad and pray for those who are longing for peace wherever they may be and whatever they may be going through.

“On behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, on behalf of my family and myself I wish you and yours a happy and holy Christmas. May the magic of Christmas touch your lives as you share it with others. I thank you.”

Wheatley isn't it you that always talking about colonialism? Well decolonize your mind first, because the 25th is just a commercial day by the west.

Make your magic to fix all rhe potholes on these road. One question I have for the former commissioner of DMV WHO now the minister for work and transportation. I remembered you always said to get your car license it must be road worthy why the roads are not "vehicles worthy". What are you doing? What is your vision for the road network in the vi?

Beyond the hustle and bustle of the sales and the glow of the Christmas lights, it will be the personal connections that truly matter.
