So if they hurting you all need to stop taking tithes

Don't be foolish. It was not man who said that we must return tithes. The tithe is the Lord's to help to carry the gospel to all the world. Any pastor who uses it for his own benefit, woe be unto him, but our responsibility is to do what God says.

Moses wrote: "And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD... And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD (Leviticus 27:30,32).

Yes, they can use that to advance the Lord’s work—which includes, taking care of the people in need. Are the churches assisting the less fortunate? Just curious....and that’s how the fight began!

@Rattie, you crazy, on now these greedy, classless pastors want money, wives need hats and pocketbook, wigs and weaves, while their members running on empty.
Christians are the only Army that shoots it's wounded.
Most of these Christians especially the pastors don't even believe in what they preach .
Eddie, Creflo, Benny, Paula, Kenneth, T.D, Jesse , etc etc etc.
R.W Shambach, used to say" you don't have any problems all you need is faith in God after he done con you out your rent.

And prayers will do what? Set of imbeciles talking to themselves. Get off your butts and make a difference, not using prayers as a pathetic excuse to do nothing

I had a friend here who got kicked out of his rental apartment and had nowhere to live. I helped him with a room and shower until he got himself sorted out. The church that he attented and paid money to each week did nothing to help the man.

It’s nice to finally see the Christian counsel coming out of the shadows. James 5:16 ...the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.. (prayer is how we connect to God and it can change things).. yes we are hurting over many things also as a result of this pandemic but it’s I believe it’s because of our sinful nature that judgment has come upon the land but we must still have Thankful hearts for God in His Love and Mercy has given us breath daily.. His Word says that if we repent and turn away from our sins He Will Heal the land.. truth is the world has become too wicked a people and if God was displeased back then why He sent the flood don’t we all think He must be more displease with us now but daily He extends His Love and Mercy towards us.. His face is not turn from us for the entire world would perish.. so let us all do what God requires of us to do so that things can get better for us all.. He said if you love me keep my Commandments and if we truly Love God and our fellow man as we should try to do then as Paul said we would have fulfilled the requirements of the Law..(look at each one - it speaks to loving God and each other) so yes it’s good to pray for it is through prayer why for example our home isn’t flooded with covid cases/ deaths from it so let’s give God some Praise.. this pandemic have revealed much and even the churches/members need to clean up.. WE all need to clean up ourselves and be “true” disciples of Christ instead of being hypocrites before God and man fooling ourselves and others.. .Pastor mills speaks this truth plainly. An Awesome and holy man of God.. we/the world need God more than ever now..

It's a shame ya'll don't even got no faith not even in your self, instead of throwing blame on the few who trying to make a difference repent of your sins. Stop looking at what others doing. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that, and hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that!!!!! Remember God loves the sinner but He hates the sin!!!!

      .". y'all don,'t even got no faith"..
I want to throw up. No ghetto anywhere in the Caribbean speaks/writes in such hood rat fashion. Rise above imitation of your brothers and sisters in a foreign land where self degradation ,clowning and buffonery gets them noticed even if it is scorn.
      Do better. You know better.

I think it’s good for some of the people, especially those alone. This is a scary time in the world and it is a good opportunity for people to come together in a safe way. Look out for each other. One love.

I hope pastors and members of the council are reading these comments and taking note of how they are viewed. Do take note that their concerns are not whether God is real but whether the followers are.

This is a condemnation on the church and is really sad. I am never mindful to condemn the church in public. But sometimes a public rebuke can go a long way. When we are not giving back to the communities from which we reap should be condemned. Not talking about pittance. It is sad that one day God will return and find churches with millions and tens of thousands of dollars in their accounts and there members starving.

That is an indictment on the church. There are some churches one that stands out where only the family is the beneficiary that is an indictment. The church of today have only a form of godliness and sometimes not even that. The problem is that the Spirit of God are no longer present in the church and sadly Pastor nor followers have not a clue.

Our country need deliverance. Coming together for prayer is good but it is time for us as individual to go to Jehovah. Whether it is in our closets, hillsides, porches or at our bedsides. Go to him in earnest and ask him to forgive us of your sins. There are many things that we are doing that is
not pleasing to him. He will listen to your prayer and forgive your sins. Let us go to our alters on Thursday and cry out to him to heel our lands and we will see a change.

To our wonderful fathers, brothers, uncles and boys, the devil has taken control of you and my heart bleeds when you are sent to the prison or murdered. You are the future leaders (pastors, husbands, chief ministers). Please make that change in your life. Surrender to God and stop let our hearts (women) weep continuously.
Lord Jesus, please cover every man in our country and lead them in the right please.
May God continue to bless our beautiful British Virgin Islands.

The most serious threat to the territory is not the COVID-19 pandemic rather it is the British government. We must not take this threat lightly. If you would recall Haiti, once the richest country in the world was invaded by the United States and they empty all the gold from that country, causing it to become the poorest island in the world. The British are trying the same tactics here. Those of you who are running to the governor and cuddle under him will regret later when they take control of the finances of the country.

We are self sustaining and why are the British fighting the people of this territory. Time will tell. All the Overseas territories are expressing the same sentiments.
