Man shot in Sea Cows Bay
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown to our news centre at this time.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed the shooting, saying it received a report of “loud bangs” in the Sea Cow's Bay area just after midnight on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
“Police responded and found one male with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was transported to Dr. Orlando Smith Hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition,” The RVIPF stated this morning, July 5, 2024.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided as necessary.
