Man of the Match Joel Williams secures 2nd win for RTW
Playing the morning game, the Royal Knights secured a crucial, but comfortable win over the Vincy, as after batting first, they were led by 91 runs from Man of the Match, Richard Fredericks, to reach 213 for 7.
Ryan Mangal and Suni Haridal (43) added 54 for the first wicket, before Fredericks, whose innings included 8 fours and 7 sixes and some late pyrotechnics from Murray Ollivierre (22 from just 8 deliveries), boosted the score.
Mctair James finished with 2 for 32 for Vincy CC.
In reply, Vincy were restricted to just 142 for 7, with Cameron Williams top scoring with 54.
Reno Mittelholzer and Olivierre both picked up two wickets for the Knights, with the former conceding just 19 runs.
RTW make light work of VG
In Division One, Road Town Wholesale made it back to back wins with a 114 run victory over Virgin Gorda.
Following the loss of two wickets in the first over, it was again left up to Man of the Match Joel Williams, who top scored with 81, including 13 fours and 4 sixes, to post a respectable score. He, along with Austin McDowall, who scored 44, put on their second successive hundred plus partnership of the season, to power the team to 264 for 6.
Jimmy Peters added a quick fire 52 from just 17 deliveries, including smashing six fours and four sixes.
Brian Matthew grabbed two of the six wickets that fell, to finish with 2 for 30.
In reply, Virgin Gorda got off to a great start with Denis Allister (49) and Otis Chin (34) putting on 106 for the first wicket.
However, once they were parted, the rest of the innings capitulated to just 150 for 7 from their allotted 20 overs.
Kenroy Baptiste was the pick of the bowling, picking up 2 for 28.
