Man hospitalised after shot in Cane Garden Bay

CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- A man has been hospitalised at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital with a gunshot wound sustained while in Cane Garden Bay on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

According to reports, the shooting incident took place shortly after 10:00 PM.

The man, who is believed to be from the Dominican Republic, was shot in the upper region of his body.

According to hospital sources, the injured man is not listed as being in a critical condition although the injury is “serious”.

It is unclear if anyone has been arrested.

    Yes I heard these two rounds of gun shots Sunday night, it was pow. pow, pow it stop then pow pow pow. To this day I have not seen or heard any sirens, I though somebody was just cleaning their gun.

    Them boys live in that dirty looking house by the roadside and they harbor other criminals in there too. And we can't catch a break in CGB from them on those bikes with so much noise. Like father like sons.
