Man dies following vehicular accident @ Belle Vue

BELLE VUE, Tortola, VI- A 40-year-old man from Greenland on Tortola has succumbed to his injuries sustained in a lone-vehicle accident at Belle Vue yesterday afternoon, July 31, 2023.

The deceased has been identified as Ernesto McLean.

The circumstances surrounding the accident remains unclear to our news centre at this time.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed the fatality.

“The RVIPF is confirming the death of a male following a lone vehicle accident along the Belle Vue Road early yesterday afternoon,” the RVIPF stated in a brief statement this morning.

It said the victim died early this morning while receiving treatment at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital and that investigations are ongoing.

    So heavy on our hearts sad to see another of our young men gone. He was a really nice man who had a little setback, but an overall very nice person. Rest in peace now and condolences to everyone who knew and liked him.
