Man charged following drug seizure by police on patrol in Baughers Bay

BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has charged a 35-year-old man following the seizure of a quantity of suspected cannabis during a patrol in the Baugher's Bay area on Friday, June 19, 2026.

According to the RVIPF, in a press release today, June 25, 2026, Milford Todman Jr, 35, was observed exiting a red Kia Soul motor vehicle, from which officers detected a strong odour consistent with cannabis. A search of Todman led to the discovery of a quantity of suspected cannabis, while a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a backpack containing additional suspected cannabis.

Todman Jr, according to the RVIPF, was arrested and transported to the Road Town Police Station, where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply for approximately 385 grams. He was granted $20,000 bail to return to court on June 30, 2026.

The RVIPF said it continues to encourage members of the public to provide information that assists law enforcement in keeping communities safe.
