Man assaulted near Scotiabank
It is not clear to this news site at this time if the attacker also carried out a robbery on the victim.
Police had responded to the reports and had cordoned off the area to conduct their investigation.
Meanwhile, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton confirmed the reports to our newsroom.
“Police can confirm that a man sustained injuries after being assaulted while walking through the parking lot near Scotiabank early this morning.”
Ms Drayton further said the circumstances surrounding the assault are still being investigated.
