FISH BAY, Tortola, VI- One person was reportedly injured in a boating accident in the Fish Bay area of Tortola today, November 29, 2021, according to information reaching Virgin Islands News Online (VINO).

According to reports, the injured man has been identifed as Mustafa Claxton.

It is unclear at this time what led to the accident; however, reports are that the vessel 'flipped'.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), the accident took place after 5:00pm.

"Police can confirm a report received of a Marine accident this evening after 5pm. One male was reported injured and was transported to the Dr D. Orlando [Smith] Hospital. Investigations are ongoing," the RVIPF stated.
