  • Regularly inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues before they become major problems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues, and performing a wide range of repairs on building infrastructure. This includes plumbing, carpentry, and drywall work.
  • Performing outdoor maintenance duties, which may include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and clearing debris from walkways and parking lots.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all work performed, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
  • Being available to respond to urgent repair requests and emergencies that may occur outside of normal working hours.
  • Has the ability to logically identify and analyze problems, and then develop effective solutions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with supervisors, colleagues, contractors, and tenants.
  • The ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working in tight or high spaces.
  • A meticulous eye for spotting minor issues during inspections to prevent them from escalating
  • Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or a related trade is often preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
