Magnitude 3.9 earthquake felt in VI

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), a 3.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded around 3:52 AM 57 km north of Cruz Bay, US Virgin Islands. Photo: USGS
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Persons in the [British] Virgin Islands (VI) have reported on social media early this morning of experiencing an earthquake.

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), a 3.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded around 3:52 AM on October 29, 2023.

The location was given as 57 km north of Cruz Bay, US Virgin Islands.

The tremor, According to USGS, was at a depth of 9.0 km.

    The Quake occurred at ( 3:52 am ) we all probably were sleeping so we won't of felt it , and then again it wasn't strong / location can be a factor also
