LONG BUSH, Tortola, VI- A barber was robbed of cash and other possessions while his client was gun-butted at a barber shop in Long Bush on August 10, 2020, according to reports reaching our newsroom.

Sources related to our newsroom that the incident occurred some time after 10:00am when a man, who had his face covered with a T-shirt, walked into the barbershop and whipped out a gun.

The barber was reportedly relieved of cash, a cellphone and a wristwatch.

The client; however, reportedly resisted and a struggle ensued between him and the gunman.

The client, according to reports, was subsequently gun-butted but managed to escape. He had to seek treatment at Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital for injuries.

      Really? You think this is about unemployment and COVID? So that made this criminal secure a gun and rob a business? The simple-mindedness on this island truly baffles me.

    @Reality:

    Being out of a job at the moment and the current pandemic does not make it right to steal and commit any crimes. It is wrong all this will do is further complicate any issues one may have. Remember a wrong can never be justified no matter how hard we try. It is still WRONG. There are other legal ways to get some money.
