Local artists highlighted during CIBC Caribbean's Client Appreciation Week

In a July 4, 2025, press release, Country Head of CIBC Caribbean in the VI, Mr Fabian S. Devonish, said, “At CIBC Caribbean, our clients are the reason we exist. We were proud to not only host a week of fun and appreciation in our branches, but also to support and celebrate the outstanding talent of women in the BVI through art. These events reflect our values — recognising the importance of relationships, creativity, and community.”
Giveaways, quizzes & an exclusive art experience
During Client Appreciation Week, held from June 18–20, corporate clients of CIBC in the territory received an “extra-special thank you” with an invitation to an exclusive pre-opening event for the art exhibition Women’s Vision: Art Through Her Eyes.
The exhibition was held at Creative Waves Arts Hub in Road Town and celebrates the vibrant creativity and diverse perspectives of female artists from the Virgin Islands.
“Sponsored by CIBC Caribbean, the exhibition features works by nine talented artists: Desiree Smith, Via C. Donovan-Hodge, Barbara O’Neal, Silka Tittle, Shanique Williams, J’Lyia Nibbs, Lex Parsons, Chelsea Simpson, and Zoe Patandin,” the release explained.
Special invited guests were given the opportunity to view the compelling collection, meet the artists behind the work, and enjoy a live performance by Kamau A. Georges.
The exhibition is free and open to the wider public through July 14.
In another event, the financial institution brought “ a festive spirit to branches and highlighted CIBC Caribbean’s promise of putting clients at the heart of everything it does”.
The bank’s branches across the region also engaged in giveaways, sweet treats and a fun in-branch quiz showcasing the bank’s “ongoing commitment to delivering a personalised and engaging banking experience”.
