Lionheart FC are the 2025/2026 BVIFA National League Champions

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Lionheart FC are the winners of the BVI Football Association (BVIFA) 2026 National League.

The new champions were crowned at A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds on Sunday, May 10, 2026, when Lionheart defeated defending champions VG United, 2-1, in their final game of the season to reach an unassailable 45 points.

The dark horse of the competition, Lionheart, led VG United 1-0 at halftime and managed to hold off a VG United fightback.

Apart from being the 2025/2026 National League Champions, Lionheart have also earned the right to represent the Virgin Islands at the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Shield.

Lionheart's Ceejay Lampart ended the season as the second top goalscorer, with 25 goals. Panthers' Romario Williams was the top scorer with 31 goals.

The top four finishers, Lioheart, VG United, Islanders and Panthers, will now vie for the President's Cup.
