‘Let's not forget from whence we came’- Kishmet B. Daniel reminds VI in poem

In a poem titled ‘Let’s not forget’ and shared on social media, Daniel encourages Virgin Islanders and descendants of slaves to remember from where they came and to stay the course despite the challenges.
Daniel, a Rastafarian, said the words for the poem came via inspiration.
“Let's not forget from whence we came. Let's keep our ancestors history in our minds like a picture that has been framed,” Daniel said of her poem.

LET’S NOT FORGET
Do not forget our ancestors bravery
during the days of African slavery
Do you remember once upon a time
When abuse was never reported or documented as a crime
We should build ourselves off of what they went through
Many of us are called but chosen are few
Many of our black people in those days were sold
Up to today the story has not yet being truthfully told
Who was the one that give us away
Like sheep that was lost and went astray
Our ancestors made huge sacrifices for a better tomorrow
So lift up your head walk tall and don’t hang it in sorrow
Up from the dust we continue to rise
As we sift through the dirt that is filled with lies
Women exercise the powers of your womb
Than sweeping out your story through the door with a broom
We are one people, our color is black
But we love every race, color and creed even though we are constantly been under attack
We know the place from whence we came
So we humble ourselves like a lion that has been tamed
In this time of coronavirus where we are unsure
We just keep trusting in Jah more and more
There are times we rise in the morning without anything to eat
But we still give thanks that we are alive and our hearts still beat
I was given this poem in my rest to write
Because he wants us to know that he is watching over us every day and every night
It's only certain people that he will bless with his story
Because they take all the props and want all the glory
But Jah knows my love for him is to infinity
And I give all glory honour and power to the trinity
Word sound coming from KING SELASSIE I
JUST REMEMBER BOB MARLEY WORDS AND I QUOTE NO WOMAN NO CRY.

Kish sexy kish woman with ten children please share with vino your secret of havin a flat stomach and broad hips and @#$ write a poem about that I want to look like u kishmet be an inspiration to us mothers
Now today u are. A sexy woman if I couldn't get u in school how can I get u out of school.so hard to approach and talk to with a serious face
But take heart and know for sure this train is bound for glory. Weeping comes in the night but joy will come in the morning. It is people like this who should be given assistance by our government. Every Tom Dick and Harry will be assisted except the ones who are dedicated to defending our story and preserving our legacy. Because we dare to strive for higher heights we are the target of those who try to fool us into believing that they have our best interest at heart. We can clearly see how the game is being played and we also know that when all is said and done everything that is called progress is designed for our destruction.Glory honour and power to the king of kings Emperor Haile Sellassie I...Rastafari. The true and living.
As though we breed like in ginea
One-two-four-eight-twelve
The seeds we spread upon my earth
Now eat my breed
That the kingman that reareth
Come through the back like dark in the night
Now the invisible villian spread
Which donald calls a lie
So before we repay for crimes that was done
Let us clean our house, let we not be a bum.
Don't talk to me about slavery if you can't talk to me about our story before slavery!!!!
Our Color is Black, I take prided in being called BLACK because of how the colour is abused, but our colour isn't Black only, Many of us are Brown, even pale!!!!!
