Applicants must have a minimum of seven years’ post qualification experience and must be able to assume responsibility for transactions in the following areas: banking and finance, capital markets, mutual funds, private equity, regulatory and general corporate law, and must possess an excellent academic and professional background.

Applicants must demonstrate a consistent ability and willingness to market and engage in business development initiatives and should demonstrate the ability to maintain existing client relationships and continue to build on current relationships that attract future work and client referral.

The successful candidate will be required to handle a large caseload with minimal supervision and to work effectively as part of a larger team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing other persons working with them on their files, which will include the mentoring and training of junior lawyers.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential.

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
