ST GEORGE'S, Grenada- Grenada’s ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by Prime Minister Dickon A.T. Mitchell, has swept to a landslide victory in the Grenada elections 2026, winning 14 of the country’s 15 parliamentary seats and securing a second consecutive term in government.

The opposition New National Party (NNP) held on to just one seat, St George North West, won by Adrian Joseph.

The outcome marks a significant political achievement for Mitchell, whose party first came to power in June 2022 after defeating the NNP administration led by former Prime Minister Keith C. Mitchell. In that election, the NDC secured nine seats, ending the NNP’s nine-year tenure in government.

The victory gives Mitchell a renewed mandate to pursue his administration’s priorities, including economic development, infrastructure, healthcare, education and employment.
