Lamp pole cut down in accident @ Wickham's Cay II

WICKHAM'S CAY II, Tortola, VI- A lamp pole was mowed down at Wickham's Cay II in an accident reportedly involving a motor vehicle sometime around 1:00 A.M. on July 17, 2016.

It is not clear if anyone was injured or how the accident occurred.

Police were on the scene conducting investigations when our roving camera passed by.

    Hope all is well. But just a thought - instead of we paying for it why the at insurance won't have an extra charge to cover accidents like this. Where the car and whatever they hit will automatically be coved or reduce cost or something like that. I know what I want to say but not really bringing it out. But you got me.

    The poles need to be installed about 3 to 4 feet up on some concrete base .

    Government need to band those motor scooters period. The young thugs that ride them do nothing but sell drugs. They are a nuisance as far as I am concerned.
