King to restart PFP Programme
The court became aware of this information, when Mr. King appeared before Magistrate Valerie Stephens on September 14, 2012.
The Court heard, that the defendant, who is presently facing charges of threatening language and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, was told by the director of the PFP programme, that he has to wait until a new programme starts, for him to rejoin.
Allegedly, King told the mother of his child “if I can’t get you, no one will” after he called her late in the night of September 25, 2011, to prepare some chicken for him, and she said no.
According to court records, on the following day, his child’s mother was allegedly being driven to church by a male friend, with the defendant driving behind them.
Allegedly, the VC told the driver to stop, this is when Mr. King came out, approached the vehicle she was in, and began choking her, and hitting her in her chest. Allegedly, the VC sustained bruises to her left arm, shoulder and heel.
Court records further stated that when King was arrested he allegedly told officers that he was so mad, he didn’t remember if he had hit the VC.
King is on bail for this matter but is currently remanded for money laundering offences.
He is to report to court on November 6, 2012.
