ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Close to 10:00 PM tonight, May 18, 2025, the final of the 2025 King of the Courts (KOTC) Caribbean Championships was yet to get underway due to a protest by USVI Elites at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

USVI Elites were supposed to play the Third Place game but boycotted due to disgruntlement over their controversial loss to Tola last night, Saturday, May 17, 2025.

As the finalists, Tola and VG Bayside Blazers were getting ready to contest the championship, the USVI team walked onto the court and then proceeded to sit on the scorers' table.

Eventually, the matter was resolved after the USVI Elites reportedly negotiated some amount of payment from the Director of the tournament, Steve E. Parillon.

Have monies set a side for events like this. Don't depend on the event to pay your contenders at such. To me this was d9be if they was placed in similar situation

That sh** was a horrible call a blatant thief!! They did the right thing and protest. That sh** legit cost them a chance to play in the championship game. If the shoe was on the other foot they would’ve done the same!!

Rain and street water are 2 completely different things you nincompoop. How about you collect your own rain water so that when the street water is off you have a backup supply?
