ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Ki’Mori Daway was the first pick of the 2026 Sports Vision Academy (SVA) Youth Basketball Draft.

The draft took place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, with Daway, a Point Guard (PG) and Shooting Guard (SG), being selected by the Nuggets. He is described as a scoring machine who plays fast and hard. 

The second pick of the draft was also chosen by the Nuggets, who selected Jadey Glasgow. 

40 players picked across 6 teams

During the second round, the third pick was 

Forty players were in the draft pool and were picked across 6 teams in the 13 to 16-year-old Senior Category in nine rounds during the draft. 

The league comprises 10 teams- 4 junior teams and 6 senior teams- and begins on May 9, 2026, at Save the Seed Energy Centre. 

The six teams involved in Saturday’s draft were the Wolves, Suns, Bucks, Nicks, Thunder and Nuggets.
