Khemeo Foy charged following VG shooting incident

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- A 51-year-old man has been arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence and Unlawful Possession of Explosives.

The man, Khemeo Foy, of Georges North Side, is alleged to have been the perpetrator of the shooting which occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 17, 2026. 

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), in a statement on May 20, 2026, said Foy was granted $100,000 bail to return to the Magistrate’s court on July 2, 2026.

Multiple gunshots reported

Previous reports indicate that multiple shots were discharged at the scene, which is a residential property. No injuries were reported. 

The RVIPF said investigations into the incident continue.

    I wish they would call it ammunition instead of explosives. I guess that makes the arrest more severe and worse sounding on the guys police record.
