ROSEAU, Dominica– Kevin S. Fahie, Interim Chairman of the BVI Airport Authority board (BVIPA), is set to make history as the first Virgin Islander to be featured at Dominica’s premier New Year’s event, the Progressism Summit & Experience.

The 5th Annual Progressism Summit & Experience, scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2026, is a networking and empowerment event for professionals in Dominica. This year’s theme is “Bridging Caribbean and African Brilliance: Progress Without Borders.” The event aims to unite leaders from the Caribbean, Africa, and the diaspora, inspire attendees, facilitate networking, and provide a structured approach to achieving professional and personal goals with a regional and global perspective.

‘We are truly honoured' to welcome Kevin Fahie- Lizra Fabien

Lizra Fabien, Founder of The Progressive Mind & Progressism and organiser of the event, expressed her excitement about the inclusion of a Virgin Islander.

"We are truly honoured to welcome Kevin Fahie to the Progressism 2026 stage. His leadership in advancing Caribbean entrepreneurship, innovation and regional connectivity embodies exactly what Progressism stands for, which is bold thinking, practical action, and progress without borders. Kevin brings a powerful voice and a deep understanding of how we can progress beyond borders and break barriers. He will be featured in our Power Talk segment, and we are delighted to have him share that insight with our audience."

At asura... Yes he is a good man. Run for office. I will not necessarily support that. i got my reasons why, just like i wont support dean greenaway running for office he's a good man also. decency and integrity is very much lacking in virgin islands leadership roles.

Don't allow them to pull you and your good name in their Web of corruption with their prestegeous bla blla...They are on a U.S monitoring list for a lot of things. They have a lot, a lot of Passport money hidden from the people acting like its his money. They were place on a no visa for a reason...
