Kempes Nicholls, Mikhail Howe & David Baronville charged for burglary

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In response to a series of burglaries plaguing both residential dwellings and businesses in Road Town over the past two weeks, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has arrested and charged at least three persons.

Nicholls in police custody

Kempes Nicholls, 32, of Wickham's Cay I, has been charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of handling stolen goods.

He is currently in custody awaiting his appearance at the Magistrate's Court.

Bail granted to Baronville & Howe

Additionally, David Baronville, 45, of Long Bush and Mikhail Howe, 33, of Lower Estate have been charged with burglary and have been granted bail for their scheduled court appearance in January.

The RVIPF in a press release on November 30, 2023, said it remains committed to maintaining the safety of the community and will continue efforts to address and prevent criminal activities.

“We appreciate the support and cooperation of the public in providing information that aids in these investigations,” the RVIPF stated.

    I will like to shift gears a little bit last night I park a vehicle at Banco popular parking lot and that fellow u call Marvin Gumbs went in to the vehicle and ransack looking for what he ain't put down so before I leave I made sure I lock the doors but the trunk door can't lock so Mr Gumbs this is not the first time you doing this and you need to stop it when you done your mischief I have to put back all them paper back where they wes you does take all quarters so police if you reading this look for Mr Gumbs and tell him to stop going in to people vehicle one of these days he will go in to the wrong person vehicle

    This is one of the problems. If your daddy or mama is a cop or ex cop on the Island you automatically get a free get out of jail pass. That is why a lot of people would prefer to have only UK police officers working on the Island.
