why on earth do you think the BVIAA would make awards for swimming ?

Why not? Why does the BVIAA acknowledges and recognizes athletes in the sport of track and field only? The BVIAA needs to extend its coverage and support of the various sports, afterall, they are an 'athletic association'. Perhaps they should consider changing their name to BVI Track and Field Association so other athletes don't feel left out.

Your intelligence is amazing. Athletics is a sport like swimming is a sport. Why Athletics have to reward 'athletes' from another sport.

Why can't swimming reward their own 'athletes'.

It is this kind of thinking why we have problems in BVI. Trying to sound smart and dumb and the same time.
