K’Dyah L. James crowned Miss Teen BVI 2026

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- K’Dyah Lanea James, 19, is the new Miss Teen British Virgin Islands.

Ms James received the crown as Miss Teen BVI 2026 at a coronation ceremony at Treasure Isle Hotel on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Handing over the crown was Maya Z. V. Marcellin, the 2025 Miss Teen BVI and reigning Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen.

“K’Dyah is ready to shine, inspire young people, and use her voice to advocate against gun and gang violence throughout the Virgin Islands. This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!” the Miss Teen British Virgin Islands Pageant Committee stated.

    No more pageants being held? No one actually earning a crown these days ? Just a bunch of bias people giving a title to a person when there could have been others who could have earned it?

    This system of lackadaisical non chalant lazy entitlement needs to stop

    Why this never ending copy cat emphasis on makeup and display of imported Asian hair on our brainless young Black females.
    Photos of their beginning journey at Cambridge Harvard Yale or beneficial and unselfish contribution to the community,a gjveback to these VI considering most of them are products of updeislun imports would be beneficial...this display of "meugly buddy is desperate wannabe ...
    " is tiresome. Show we the people hope for the future via the youth not display of clowns in makeup on display of makeup and pretense.The clowning at our August festival is enough embarrassment.
