Kareem-Nelson Hull In! Janette N. Brin Out! at LIME

Virgin Islander Mr Kareem-Nelson Hull (Left, photo: Facebook) has been named Head of Department of Corporate Communications and Marketing BVI and TCI. While his duties and responsibilities have been upgraded with responsibility also for the Turks and Cacaos Islands, he has replaced former Marketing Manager Janette N. Brin. Photo: VINO/File

PALESTINA ESTATE, Tortola, VI- After this news site first and accurately reported last month that Telecommunications giant LIME BVI had laid off two of its senior employees, word now comes that a new post was created within the company and it has since been filled.

General Manager Sean Auguste, in an exclusive interview last month with this news site, had denied that the company was laying off persons. “A couple of colleagues, because we’re doing a little bit of a restructure, have moved on but it’s not a… we’re not laying off people,” Auguste had stated.

The General Manager had expressed that some of the roles were changing within the company and told this news site that while two of the staff members had left one of the roles would be re-filled.

Being true to his word on refilling one of the posts, Virgin Islands News Online through its many sources can confirm that Virgin Islander Mr. Kareem-Nelson Hull was named Head of Department of Corporate Communications and Marketing BVI and TCI.

While his duties and responsibilities have been upgraded with responsibility also for the Turks and Caicos Islands, he has replaced former Marketing Manager Janette N. Brin.

It is unclear whether Ms Brin was an applicant for the newly created and upgraded post.

Mr Hull, who previously worked for the Government of the Virgin Islands in the Premier’s Office as an Administrative Cadet, holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Master’s Degree in International Relations.

It is this news site’s understanding that Mr Hull started his new post this week and will be stationed at LIME BVI Headquarters in Palestina Estate, on the Western side of Tortola.

Up to post time, efforts to reach Mr Auguste for a comment were not successful.

Public Service is secure? LMAO!!!!!! WoW!!!! The Public Service Civil Servants are paid with taxes and other monies derived from the private sector. The private sector shakes up too much then the public sector goes. Don't be stupid. Besides, the public sector does't pay $h!t.

Can somebody explain why Mr. Hull's vote is so valuable that the NDP had to make promises to get that one vote ... I'm not trying to be facetious, I'm just confused ....

Who said the Public Service is secure???? You must have been sleeping or something! The Public Service is noting but a victimization hole with a set of pompous ministers. If you are a rubber stamp you go places if not you are either fired, transferred, displaced or demoted. They could behave how they want now but not for as long as they want. Payday is a coming.Who have ears to hear let them hear!
