July heats up with the return of Summer Sizzle BVI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Virgin Islands will yet again be transformed into an international fashion destination as top international designers and some of the newest fashion stars emerge for the fifth annual Summer Sizzle BVI, the Caribbean’s premier luxury fashion event of the year.

The stellar production attracts travelers, media, celebrities and influencers from around the globe. The four-day fashion and lifestyle weekend kicks off on Thursday, July 11 and concludes on Sunday, July 14, 2013 and will be filled with upscale parties, island tours, sailing excursions and the highly anticipated “Global Glamour” Runway Show.

“Summer Sizzle BVI is increasing its global appeal and we are happy with the interest from the fashion insiders from around the world. Our goal is to create the most amazing fashion destination event in the Caribbean while highlighting the beauty, culture and decadence of the British Virgin Islands," says Terry Donovan, Founder and Executive Producer of Summer Sizzle BVI.

This year’s schedule of festive events includes the Welcome Culture and Style Party on Thursday, July 11, the White Fashion Gala on Friday, July 12 at Scrub Island Resort Spa and Marina, the host hotel of SSBVI; the Summer Sizzle BVI “Global Glamour” Runway Show on Saturday, July 13 at U.P.’s Cineplex Crystal Ballroom on Tortola Island, followed by a VIP After-Party, as well as a Sailing Excursion & Beach BBQ on the island of Jost Van Dyke with a Bon Voyage Karaoke Party on Sunday, July 14 as the grand finale to the weekend.
