ESTATE NAZARETH, St Thomas, USVI- Jr Skillful Ballers got off their campaign in the 16-18 Division of the Back to Basketball Easter Tournament hosted by Zero Tolerance Basketball Organisation Incorporated in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, in fine style on April 14, 2022.

The [British] Virgin Islands boys defeated All Stars 59-35 at Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Gymnasium.

The BVI Basketball Federation’s (BVIBF) 2021 District League Champions of the Junior Division, Jr Skillful Ballers were shouldered to victory by Lenique Austrie, who top-scored with 20 points.

Kyron Walwyn supported with 8.

The victory was redemption for the Jr Skillful Ballers 13-15 team being demolished in their opening game.

Jr Skillful Ballers is being coached by Ronald Simmons aka ‘Gola’ at the youth basketball tournament sponsored by Governor Albert A. Bryan Jr.

Jr Skillful Ballers in USVI for Easter Basketball Tournament

- to compete in 13-15 & 16-18 Divisions

With the objective of giving the young lads exposure to competition overseas, Jr Skillful Ballers, under the guidance of Coach Ronald Simmons aka ‘Gola’, is participating in a youth basketball tournament in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI).

Jr Skillful Ballers is fielding teams in the 13-15 and 16-18 divisions at the Back to Basketball Easter Tournament hosted by Zero Tolerance Basketball Organisation Incorporated at the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Gymnasium.

The tournament runs from Thursday, April 14 to Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Opening game defeat

Meanwhile, Jr Skillful Ballers took on Elite Ballers in the 13-15 Division this morning but were defeated 20-58.

The 16-18 boys for Jr Skillful Ballers will also be in action today.

The tournament is sponsored by Governor Albert A. Bryan Jr.
