ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- This year HireBVI will host its annual career exposition on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Multipurpose Sports Complex.

The career exposition, under the theme, “Show me the Way: A Roadmap to Employment” will expose participants to careers, job opportunities, and educational options in the [British] Virgin Islands.

Rekeema S. Turnbull-Caines, Managing Director, stated that, “HireBVI hosted a Facebook live career readiness conversation on May 24, which provided tips on being employable. ‘An opportunity for finding jobs’

According to a press release from HireBVI on May 30, 2023, job seekers should attend the Career Exposition well-prepared - professionally dressed and groomed with a winning resume. The Career Exposition, it said, will provide an opportunity for finding jobs, learning about careers and educational options as well as networking.

Mrs Turnbull-Caines, further noted, "For the first time we targeted students for some of the activities leading up to the exposition because we understand the importance of giving them a space to explore their creativity and give flight to their dreams. We encourage all seniors of the various high schools to attend. The majority of us Belongers do work so stop lying on us. The difference between you and us when you work for the US dollar you can buy a rice field, a chicken farm or build a mansion in your country. It cannot do much for us here.

We reap what we sew. We keep picking whips to beat our own backsides. Let's watch and see how this one pan out.

Never try to waste the court's time, especially in the US. Just say sorry for the inception and plea for lienceancy. Apologize to the people. The Feds will now go for the max. They have two against one. Choices in life comes with consequences and families are left to suffer. God is still merciful and gracious.
