BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI – Outspoken Pastor and host of the ‘Honestly Speaking’ radio show on ZBVI 780 am, Mr Claude O. Skelton-Cline says his platform remains a tool of Jehovah to prophesy to the Virgin Islands, as well as to inform and inspire the populace.

“The reason why I'm doing this program is because it was prophesied to me; everybody may not understand that, but one of my prophetic people… sent me a voice note and told me about what he had seen in the realms of the spirit,” Skelton-Cline said on the December 17, 2020, edition of his show.

Vessel of God

In the message he said, “…one of the things as it relates to me, was this whole voice and this platform and becoming a voice of influence to help shape what God is going to be doing,” he said.

According to Mr Skelton-Cline, while he remains just one person and one key medium, he is part of a bigger plan doing the work of the creator in the territory.

“I don't know what all God is going to do, but I know that as we do and we share this program together, that part of my life's journey is walking this purpose, in this season... so that's why I am eternally grateful for all of you who listen,” he said.

Greater Purpose

While the show has been controversial over the years and is know for sparking social conversations, Skelton-Cline reminded his audience that his mission is also one of greater purpose.

“One of the goals… is to see that this country, our country becomes a politically and economically free community, from the grip, the hand, the administrative power, that is the United Kingdom.”

Further, the man of the cloth says he encourages persons to challenge him and will continue to challenge the territory to achieve his mission of independence and economic freedom from the UK.

Same ones up in the choir, churching, preaching, and recruiting other unsuspecting souls.

The Bible is clear “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Ex. 20:3). Yet, behind these organizations are false gods:

Phi Beta Sigma was associated with Athena, in Greek religion and mythology, one of the most important Olympian false gods.

Kappa Alpha Psi is associated with Thoth which is the name given by the Greeks to the Egyptian god Djeheuty. Thoth was the god of wisdom, inventor of writing, patron of scribes and the divine mediator.

Phi Beta Sigma pays homage to Horus.

Alpha Kappa Alpha is associated with Atlas. In Greek mythology, a Titan (a Nephilim perhaps?).

Alpha Phi Alpha (a fraternity) has the Sphinx as its logo.

Omega Psi Phi is associated with Anubis. Anubis is the Egyptian mythological false god with the head of a jackal.

Zeta Phi Beta is associated with the Egyptian cat-headed goddess, Bastet.

Sigma Gamma Rho refers to Ma’at as its inspiration. She is a goddess who was the female counterpart of Thoth. Its emblem has a skull with swords crossed through it which is normally associated with death.

Iota Phi Theta is associated with the Centaur which in Greek mythology was a race of creatures, part horse and part man.

Delta Sigma Theta is associated with the Roman goddess Minerva. The Greek version of Minerva is called Athena. Celebrations and altars were utilized for this false goddess.

AKAs are quoted as saying: “…To thee O Alpha Kappa Alpha! We pledge our hearts, our minds our strength. To foster their teachings, obey thy Laws and make thee supreme in service to all mankind” (from pg. 39 of their ritual book).

Some of these groups kneel on shrines to a false god. For example, pg. 14 of the ritual book of Kappa Alpha Psi states: “…The Altar of Kappa Alpha Psi, which is the sacred Delphic Shrine, shall be placed in the center of the room and covered with a crimson and crown coverlet.” The Delphic Shrine was used as the shrine of the false god of Apollo (in the Greek polytheistic religion).

          .....and the lost goes on.

So now you say the reason you use your platform to turn people against each other is because God told you to?
God told you to turn BVIslanders against "island people" and promote hate towards them? What is the end game here? Chase them out or just tax them more at Moneygram so they bleed out slowly?
God told you to promote hatred of "the whites"? You want them to just leave? Or you want violence against them first? We need more detail.
God told you the best thing for the BVI is to be independent? Did he send a detailed policy document outlining how to make independence work? It is risky, but if he has a good plan, we should be allowed to assess and debate it.
    Some things I don't understand:
Why does your God promote all this hatred and division between otherwise good people?
You seem so righteous and confident but you do not show wisdom or kindness.
You do not seem to understand or care that the effects of your "calling" is to turn decent people against each other and spread hate. Or you know it and it is part of your own plan to further your own goals.
You do not show kindness in your analysis of our situation, you just pour fuel on hate and laugh like a dancing devil when it spreads.
Sit down. Think about the human effects of your actions and words. Look inside yourself for God, not someone forwarding txt messages direct from heaven. Fact: heaven does not have cell phone coverage.
Above all, and you should know this by now, 'pastor' but it seems you missed the memo:
    God is love.

    Mr. Skelton,

For us to get deliverance, we need to humble ourselves and pray. Somehow I don't believe what you say.

Mr. Skelton please take a good look in our society, our young men in general are getting in trouble, many of our children are going to go up without a father in the home. How do you sleep in the night with this ill society. God need you to help him rescue the perishing and care for the dying because he is very merciful.
We are in perilous times and things are not going to get better. Many hearts are broken and confused.

Stop killing yourself about these earthly desires and try to reach souls for the kingdom. Please use that medium to win soul.
Lord Jesus, as Mr. Skelton takes a break from the Media, go to his bedside and let him know the purpose you bring him into this world as a man of the cloth. Create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him in Jesus's name. Amen

    Jeremiah 23:16

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.

    2 Corinthians 11:13-15

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Claude O. Skelton-Cline It has been said many times most of the people of The British Virgin Islands don’t want independence if you are who you say you are you would leave it alone.
You are nothing more than an opportunist stop trying to push people into something they know that is not right for BVI you need to shut down this talk now.

As much as I would never endorse Claude, the tides are shifting for independence, and many are awakening to the evils of colonialism in the BVI.

Church and State should be separate. Either he is a politician or a man of the pastor. As a citizen he is entitled to his believes and opinion, but this behaviour is unacceptable. It responds to getting away with it for far too long. It is escalating and is time for tuning down on the political side from church pulpit. Let's not mix one with the other.
