BELLE VUE, Tortola, VI – It is unclear what the circumstances are surrounding a dark blue Jeep Wrangler bearing 60th Festival license plate number 469 which ended up no less than 30 feet or more down the hillside at Belle Vue, Tortola.

This news site’s roving camera came across the vehicle sometime after noon today August 5, 2014 and upon consulting with Police Public Relations Officer Ms Diane Drayton this news site was told there was no report of the accident in their system.

From all appearances the driver may have lost control of the vehicle as he or she was about to negotiate the steep turn or he or she might have fallen asleep at the wheel.

Further investigation revealed that the accident occurred sometime after 2:30 - 3:30 am today and that the driver escaped with no known injuries.

It could not have been confirmed how the driver managed the make good his or her escape alive or whether or not he or she was the lone person in the vehicle at the time.
