‘Jamaica’ whip ‘St Lucia’ 3-0 in 2019 Nation’s Cup final on VG

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Jamaica are the champions of the BVI Football Association’s 2019 Nation’s Cup played on Virgin Gorda.

The Jamaicans blanked St Lucia 3-0 in the final played at the Virgin Gorda Recreation Ground on Sunday, August 11, 2019.

Jamaica had reached the final after defeating St Vincent in the semifinals while St Lucia overcame Columbia.

In the third place game, St Vincent beat Columbia.

The other teams in the tournament were Ireland, Guyana, Grenada and Virgin Islands.

The 2019 Nation's Cup was well received by football fans on Virgin Gorda, as all of the game days saw a large crowd in attendance.
