Jahtivya Williams reaches 60m final @ UW-Oshkosh 'Early Bird' Invite

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin, USA- Young Virgin Islands’ athlete Jahtivya Williams had an encouraging start to her collegiate adventure as she qualified for the 60m finals of the UW-Oshkosh Early Bird Invite on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

Competing at the Kolf Sports Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, freshman Williams, who represents Northern Michigan, qualified for the 60m finals thanks to her 4th place finish in Heat 4.

Known better for her 400m runs, Williams clocked 8.09 seconds to advance.

She then ran 7.98 seconds in the final for 7th place.

    Whoo Hoo! Northern Michigan U is so lucky to have such a talented athlete. Everyone in the VI community should support these student athletes. It is not easy to earn a scholarship keep up your studies and all the expenses.
