DE CASTRO STREET, Road Town, Tortola, VI – Each year many residents and visitors driving on De Castro Street at night look forward to the spectacular Christmas displays from Bobby's Supermarket close to Republic Bank in the capital city, Road Town.

This year, 2024, has not disappointed, as the colourful displays have gone up and continue to be very impressive. There are a new colourful display of Santa Claus and other Christmas decorations that will surely get you in the Christmas mood.

Once night falls on the short strip on De Castro Street adjacent to Bobby’s Supermarket, in Road Town, it looks a lot like a Christmas wonderland. The decorations are very creative and festive and help put residents, drivers, pedestrians, and visitors in the right mood to celebrate the season.

A businessman who gives back- Elton S. Leonard

The yearly Christmas decorations sponsored by businessman and real estate owner Mr Elton S. Leonard are a must-see!

Hats off to Mr Leonard who every year ensures that both sides of the small strip bring out all the Christmas characters, with lights and even Santa Claus whose reindeer are about to arrive in the Virgin Islands!

Clearly you don't Shop at Bobbys. Elton has better prices than riteway and one mart on many many items

I always go to Bobby's first to shop. His store has so many things to buy at good prices. His food counter is my daily lunch. This store has been around forever and we appreciate all the loyal ways he has contributed to the entire BVI. His movie theatre is the best for people to relax and enjoy. He is the only one who thinks of us the people who love and support us. Much love to Bobby's businesses and we should always support him. Proud BVI Lander.

I always get good deals in Bobby’s. I remember every Saturday my grandmother used to shop at his father small store on Main Street.Bobby’s is the only supermarket I shop at for groceries. I shop there every Friday and I always find a good deal.

Thanks UP. The decorations are nice, and professionally designed and executed. We needed that positive uplift.

Thank God for Elton. When he did that Christmas Village years ago, that should have been given government support to be a yearly event. When cruise ships are in on Christmas day the poor tourists walk around Road Town drifting in a daze. The Christmas Village with cultural music and food would have been a wonderful and joyous experience for them. When they go back to their individual countries they would have spread the news that Tortola is the place for a Christmas day stop over.
Also, every year Elton decorate both sides of the road to then of his parking lot. Why can't the other businesses in the area contribute and decorate all the way down to Republic Bank. Elton gives that area the feel of the Christmas spirit every year and none of those businesses in the area would step up and give a helping hand.
This is why all shoppers should support Bobby's Supermarket. Elton may God bless you in all your endeavours.

Thank you Mr. Elton UP Leonard. You have a good heart, doing this on your own every year without any support. Will the District rep do the Waterfront Drive?

Come on RATTIE. come on I’m quite sure the rats is enjoying it as well. For all the stress. hardships and anxiety that everyone has been going through this Year alone even the rats welcome this. It is so beautiful to pass through there at night. I wish they would decorate all of Main Street on both sides of the street and the Round about.

Congratulations to Elton Bobby Lennard for a job well done. I pray for God blessings on him and his business for a very long time. We the people of the Virgin Islands should give our support to Bobby's Supermarket. The Tourist Board should use the Festive Season to help beautify the country as Bobby did. Elton needs another supermarket because it is too congested in Road Town. Perhaps, he should consider East End or Beef Island where Virgin Gorda customers would support him more because of the close proximity. Best wishes to Bobby.

Thanks again Elton for the wonderful Christmas decorations. I drove through town last night and was overjoyed to see them.
Now if our government could stop destroying the roads it would be a happy Christmas for all.
