ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- There was much consternation but also a display of swift action when a pastor, who has been in the Virgin Islands for the past three weeks as the main speaker at an evangelistic series at Festival Grounds in Road Town, collapsed while on stage yesterday, May 7, 2022.

Dr Samuel Telemaque, who is from Dominica but resides in the United States where he works at the Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists (IAD), was making his final appeal for persons to be baptised on the final day of the Hope Beyond Evangelistic Series when he appeared to lose consciousness and fell.

Persons quickly rushed to his assistance as others looked on in disbelief, while others could be seen shedding tears.

Others in the congregation of about three hundred gathered under two large tents began to pray.

Less than a minute later Dr Telemaque appeared to regain consciousness and was taken backstage where he was seen by a doctor that had hurried over from the nearby B&F Medical Complex Ltd.

The international speaker was then taken to B&F Medical where he was subsequently discharged.

Pastor Telemaque was declared ‘physically well’- IAD

At the time of the incident, the series was being live-streamed to a global audience.

According to a statement from the IAD Saturday afternoon, Pastor Telemaque was preaching in an evangelistic series under a tent in the [British] Virgin Island on Sabbath (Saturday) May 7, 2022 when “for a little while he appeared to lose consciousness and fell.”

The statement disclosed that the pastor was seen by a doctor and was declared physically well.

“A combination of the heat and exertion may have been the cause,” the IAD stated while expressing appreciation for all the concerns and prayers on the pastor’s behalf.

“Though he is well, his family and the Division administration appreciate your continued prayers,” the IAD statement concluded.

16 baptised shortly after

Meanwhile, some 16 persons were baptised at CSY Dock in Baughers Bay on the final day of the evangelistic series yesterday.

29 persons were baptised for the entire series.

Prayers for VI Gov’t

During the series, Dr Telemaque dedicated a day of prayer for the Government of the Virgin Islands and also presented one of the largest bibles in the world to the government. The Bible weighs 17 pounds and contains many different translations.

At Large Representative and former Health Minister Carvin Malone had received the bible on behalf of the government.

According to reports, Dr Telemaque is scheduled to travel to London for an evangelistic series.

I think anyone who have to give long speeches should sit in a chair because it is too hot to be standing so long. Everyone need to understand that. You can hear the sermon, you dont have to see the speaker.

Happy all is well, because i know the BVI need some true righteousness. There were Demons under this tent from the last week conference of Religion prayer and that was a direct attack on the man of God. The EVIL SPIRITS in BVI are to much to handle and almost kill the evangelist, thank to God for his intervention his life was spared.

I'm not an Adventist and I hold no brief for Dr. Telemaque, but you need to read your Bible if you think that genuine people of God can't be attacked. And, for your information - Ecclesiastical Affairs, in other words anything pertaining to the church, falls under the Minister of Health. Stop trying to stir up foolishness.

claiming to know God doesn't mean he's invincible. He just needs to take care of himself and get regular checkups, he's human after all. Besides its when you know God is when the devil attacks you more.
The devil won't attack people like you, because he knows you're already in his camp, why waste time on you?

I warned everyone billions will just be dropping down dead from the vaccine because it breaks down every single cell in your body. It's an mRNA biotech weapon Vaccine. You all need to pay attention because it happening all over the world. Open your eyes and see what you can see and not what these sodomites tell you. Look at the one from customs. I'm sure he was Vaccinated. People would think about something they put in their bodies last year to depopulate them.

People were feinting long before vaccine invent, not to mention Covid vaccine. If you don't stop your stupidity your time will come. Stop the fear mongering. Forty years ago I feinted on the cricket field, was it covid then or may be the polio or MMR vaccine I got as a child or was it good old hot sun and not drinking enough water.

He lost a precious opportunity to tell the people of the BVI about the coming Mark of the Beast(National Sunday Law) and all the prophecies that are fulfilling fast before our eyes. He seemed so caught up in talking about the beautiful British Virgin Islands and Fungi and Fish. Wa call food had to be mentioned so many times. He missed a golden opportunity.

I agree. As an SDA, I am rather disappointed in this crusade. I heard more about the BVI and it’s government than the everlasting gospel that we are called to preach. These sermons sounded more like motivational speeches with a little Jesus tacked on to convince people to get baptized. I hope that he is doing better, but except for mention of Sabbath, it didn’t sound as Adventist crusade. I guess probably that’s how we do “safe preaching” these days. I don’t know.

When are you going to all realise that these churches are all basically scams? They run some of the biggest Ponzi schemes and their believers seem to have left their common sense at home and got brainwashed by cult-like dogma. If you are in it, it's easier to carry on with the deception than do the mental work to free yourself. There may well be a greater entity but the churches are all fake and basically enslave their followers. If you don't believe me try leaving a church for a minimum of 6 months and see how your mental health changes. You don't need a church to be a grounded, happy, good, honest person.

You definitely cannot be a Seventh-Day Adventist. All preacher have different styles of preaching. Instead of following the foolish ones who are already in satan's camp, go back and listen to the messages, learn something from them, and live your life fot God.
