‘Officers’ behaviour must be beyond reproach’- CoP Collins
Commissioner of Police Mark Collins stated that accusations against officers by members of public will be thoroughly investigated and if there is evidence of an offence committed, officers will be suspended and possibly charged.
According to the press release, in communications with the Force, Collins reiterated the need for his officers to align their personal and public lives with the Force’s professional standards.
“He noted his firm stance that officers’ behaviour must be beyond reproach whether on or off duty,” the press release stated.
Another sergeant was charged in July 2021
It was on July 29, 2021, that the RVIPF charged suspended Sergeant Troy St Helen of Jennings Hill for possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

need pictures so when you see them you cross the street and the record will show police in this territory have been involved with domestic violence over the years. Good to know the current commissioner is willing to take these police officers before the court however the court system is weak and the law breaking police simply walks free in this territory and should be deported. Have nothing against police but how can a given department enforce law when it’s staff members in involved in criminal conduct
Sometimes our emotions get the best of us regardless of one's profession.
High standard is expected in our communities so that we can learn to trust one another.
Yea! Lay them down one by one. We are all human beings so shouldn’t we all pay for our crimes?! I am patiently waiting to read about the one from VG....
You heard it here first.
Great Job! We all know there are many more involved in this operation, that whole crew always flaunting their wealth and dirty money, 8888888 will go down alone just watch. Sergeant from VG and the other Jamaican one both got transferred from the unit at the same time so let the story unfold, I am following.
