Injuries reported following multiple-vehicle accident on Sophie Bay Hill

SOPHIE BAY, Tortola, VI- Persons have reportedly sustained injuries in an accident involving multiple vehicles on Sophie Bay Hill this morning, Monday, October 13, 2025.

At least three vehicles were said to be involved. One of the vehicles ended up on its side.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirmed the accident in a brief statement this morning.

"The RVIPF is advising the public of a motor vehicle accident, with injuries on Sophie Bay hill that occurred just before 9 am, October 13.

"Officers are currently on the scene. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time."

Motorists were urged to proceed with caution and use the Ridge Road where possible until the roadway is cleared.

    Too much speed and lack of driving skill. I hope that those injured are going to be ok. Why do we have to see this nonsense almost everyday and for what? Slow down!

    Vehicles accident are a common accorance, but better care should be a practical habit in order to lower the number.
    I do hope that those that got injuries were not very serious. Speed recovery to all.

    Remember, please, Vehicles don't drive people, but rather people drive vehicles. Drive careful, and with selflessness motives. It save lives, injuries, pain, and finances.
