VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The senior championship of the 2025 VG Summer Jam basketball series is poised for a dramatic showdown between two teams with a history against each other.

Defending champions Ice Connection and Set It Off begin Game One of their Best of 5 Series at A. Jeffrey Caines Arena in Virgin Gorda from 10:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

The showdown is billed as a Tortola vs Virgin Gorda affair, and some are even seeing the championship as Tortola vs US Virgin Islands, since Ice Connection is fielding a few star players from the USVI.

Ice Connection knocked out former champions Set It Off in the playoffs in 2024, and also beat them in the preliminary rounds this year.

Their opponents, Set It Off, will be hoping for some sweet revenge in their quest to reclaim their title.

Other Championships

Play on Saturday gets underway from 6:00 PM in the C Division, with On A Mission taking on Out The Mud in Game One of their Best of 3 Series.

At 8:00 PM, All de Smoke and Development will clash in the final game of their Best of 3 Series, providing the series is not wrapped up this evening.

    Set it Off and East ain't play no games yet to see which team will go up against Ice Connection in the championship. Therefore championship should not be between I ce Connection and Set it Off.Tge association and all involved are np good. It is my belief that not Tortola teams should participate in Summer Jam League anymore. We all know without teams from Tola the league won't be any good and will supported.
