‘I want to see this country wake up from its slumber’- Enriquito Rymer

This comes as ‘Quito’ has signalled that he will be retiring from the ownership of his hotel and restaurant, with a farewell concert with his band, “The Edge” to be held this evening Saturday, July 13, 2024, on the Cane Garden Bay Beach.
“BVI will always be home, I really want to see it come back to where it was in the day of H. Lavity Stoutt when all the developments we enjoy now was done. I haven’t seen anything much lately. I am disappointed in a lot of things and If I start calling names, I will take all afternoon but there is a lot to be done,” Quinto said in a recent interview with JTV's Cathy O. Richards.
“I travel around the world and I see a lot of things and my wife had to stop me and say you are going to die of a stroke, we should do this we should do that, and I miss those days with H. L. Stoutt he was a visionary and he knew how to get it done. And those were the times when we didn’t have a lot but we got it done,’ he added.
This travel his said has caused him to want to see more from the Virgin Islands as it relates to development.
“So I want to see this country wake up from its slumber and do the right things and rebuild. This is too much a beautiful island to be the way it is. It needs to clean up the roads are terrible, it’s just so terrible but he says he is confident we will get there.”
Taking VI to another level
He added, “I am confident, somebody is going to rise up, somebody soon is going to rise up with the vision and take it to another level that I need to be, I just want to see it in my lifetime.”
Speaking directly to the people of the BVI, the business owner thanked them for the support given over the years to his businesses and ventures.
“To the people of the BVI I want to say thanks so much for all the support you have given me over the years. You have help me to build my confidence in my writing skills, in my playing skills and even for encouraging me to keep the restaurant open and going.”
“And one of the other things I wanted to do was to create an awesome hotel on this property for the BVI and we have accomplished it, Kim and I have accomplished it and it’s wonderful,” he added.

Who tf is quito?
His mother and father turned in his grave for selling there ancestorial land loed have mercy
I was confident from in school back on 09 but now... All seeing is both parties playing hot potato's with the our tax money and seeing the new faces in these parties just following along has led to believe this not happening anytime now.
I'm glad someone saw other countries and places and wondered why the BVI not somewhat close looking like them.
We have the annual revenue
We have the US dollar unlike some countries
And we still look like hot sewage water.
Them other Caribbean countries got good roads. You in on the island it looks beautiful. No car parked clustered up on a main road. Them got concerts on concrete not on dirt land. Place looks clean. And all them have is ec dollar
We should be looking better than them
Our Citizens life should be booming with our us dollar economy
But here we are with our greedy bunch.
