SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- They say honesty may not be the best policy when it comes to politics; however, Opposition Member and Third District Representative Hon Julian Fraser RA could not deny that his District has been receiving more attention under the present Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Government than it received under the previous 8-year reign of the National Democratic Party (NDP) administration.

Honourable Fraser had first made this admission at the Second Sitting of the Third Session of the Fourth House of Assembly (HoA) on December 15, 2020.

“I can say this, that for the last two years I was able to deliver to my people what I couldn't deliver for the last 8 prior…And it's not because I wasn't trying, but maybe because there were forces that were designed to insist, to ensure, that things didn't happen,” he had said.

During an Opposition press conference on April 12, 2022, Hon Fraser of Progressives United (PU) was asked if he still stood by those words.

“Yes, I stand by them,” Hon Fraser responded without hesitation.

The veteran legislator noted; however, that it appears the Andrew A. Fahie (R1) administration is strapped for cash.

“But I stand by those words,” Hon Fraser emphasised.

Seems to me you are heading over to the VIP camp. If you are fine. Just say it already. I may be wrong, but that is how I feel.

Seems he's just being honest. The NDP penalized the 3rd for not voting their guy in. They even had bypassed Fraser in the basic communications when he was the rep for the District and operate without his involvement. Fraser was VIP so I'm sure he doesn't have issues giving them credit when it is due. But I don't see him going back to that party as it is currently constructed.

"strapped for Cash" More district self governance with revenue sharing will ease that burden. What do we have to loose there isn't ant great progress in what we've been doing. It's time to try something else. Why is your district representative there?
    Is it for the:
    1) Money
    2) Glory and prestige
    3) To become premier
It should be solely for the greater good and progress of the district.

Hon. Julian Frazer, Rep. S3, with all the problems we have faced and now presently facing, Spiritually, socially, educatiially, and economically in all nine districts on our country, hi come your show have a mindset to become the Premier of the BVI quarelly focus on what should be done for the third electorial district, but care little about the other eight wellbeing? In my honest opinion your mindset is gross selfishness.
As I see it, and many others, too, you ziz zaz too much in your thoughts and speech politically for your own good, much less ours. No person the hate, and eny from me to you, Sir, but you are simply unfit for the Top position that you now craving for.

most of the political members should be extremely careful with conversations because of fraser there is public water distribution issues-he disrupted occean conversation a locally owned company in favour of bi water look at us all now

most districts function a bit better under the Virgin Islands Party management because NDP looked out for foreign investors while neglecting the people that placed them in political office

Fraser should gather his own folks simply come up with 12 good men & women

Correction please:. 1. Zigg Zagg too much (not ziz zaz)
    2. D3 Representative. ( not S3)
    3. Squarely. ( not quarelly)
Thank you for your kind understanding..
However, I meant what I meant in my previous posted, except for the spelt errors, about Hon.. Julian Frazer selfish mindset of his bad mounting others, (NDP) and flattering others, (VIP) for his own political interests. I see sick tactics as impotent mediocre tactical attempt to gain favour for his own cause, not nationwide..

THIS IS THE REASON WHY IT IS TIME TO GET HIM OUT OF REPRESENTING THIS DISTRICT. HE IS HOLDING US BACK. HE BLAMES EVERY GOVERNMENT FOR HIS OWN INABILITY TO GET THINGS DONE IN OUR COMMUNITY. HE IS BLAMING EVERYONE FOR THE WATER WOES BUT HIMSELF WHO BROUGHT THIS DEBACLE UPON US. WE NEED CHANGE AND WILL MAKE THAT. FRASER CANNOT BRAINWASH PEOPLE ANYMORE AND IS OUT OF TOUCH WITH SOCIETY.
