‘I am struggling to see who I would vote for’- Damion C. Grange

Grange said this during Talking Points on June 30, 2025, on ZBVI 780 AM.
Last Monday’s show saw the co-hosts engage in conversation about matters affecting the territory, from the lowered increase in minimum wage to the closure of the Bank of Asia (BVI) and the June 13, 2025, grey listing of the territory by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the road conditions, and water issues, the National Health Insurance (NHI) among more.
“At some point, we’re just going to have to say, we’re going to do what’s right. Your goal as an elected rep is not to work to be reelected, your goal is to work for the betterment of your people and country,” Grange said while in discussion with his fellow Talking Points hosts.
Agreeing, Elvin G. Grant said the work of elected officials is indeed about improving the lives of citizens and residents, adding, “That’s the first premise.”
“And that would get you reelected,” Mrs Violet Thomas-Gaul included.

Continuing to make his point, Grange said as a voter he is in fact looking for elected officials to work for the benefit of all residents in the Virgin Islands.
He added, “If I can be candid right now, and be honest, next election is called, I am struggling to see who I would vote for, I am absolutely struggling. If I can sing this song looking at the current bunch, ‘No not one, no not one.’”
While he said things can change before the elections are called in 2027, at the moment, he is “not very happy”.
“I think that represents a majority of the population right now,” Grant said.

That being said, sounds like his vote is up for sale, just like the rest of those grifters. Point out the problems and still vote for the same thing. Makes perfect sense.
