'Hurricanes' is Elite 8 Basketball Games 2018 Champions
'Hurricanes' stormed back to tie the series at 2-2, as they defeated Jam Session 80-77, on Friday July 6, 2018, in game four of the best out of five, on the Baughers Bay Basketball court. Hurricanes was led by Tavon J. Phillips, with 22 pts and Diorys Joseph, with 18 points. 'Jam Session' was led by Jason A. Edwin, with 19 points and Dwayne M. Stoutt with 12.

In Game 5 on July 7, 2018, the 'do or die' for both teams, 'Hurricanes' completed the back to back sweep to defeat Jam Session 74-62 in the highly competitive series. This time 'Hurricanes' was led by Diorys Joseph with 18pts and Phillip E. Glasgow with 14pts.
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, of the series went to Tavon J. Phillip, as the Hurricanes team emerged as the 2018 champions in this first league.
Speaking exclusively to our newsroom Mr Parillon said, “We want to thank all the fans, players, referees and scorers for the support and making this league possible, Hurricane Irma/Maria did not stop us from having a little sporting social”

The All American and Elite 8 League Organizer, Parillon, also added, “we are pleased to know we could have given the fans some basketball excitement”.
All roads will now lead to the next Basketball League, that should get on the way in late August 2018, the popular and highly competitive, Honourable Julian Fraser's 'Save the Seed National Basketball League,' where they will be playing for gold rings, and continuing the 2017 series that came to an abrupt end following the destruction of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September of last year.
