Howe & Forbes sweep Mr. & Miss Fifth Form titles [Photoslide Included]

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – In a very entertaining and exciting evening, October 15, 2011 where 14 young men and women came together to exhibit their talent and charisma - Kyla Forbes walked away with the 2011 Miss Fifth Form crown, while Jaleel Howe was judged Mr. Fifth Form.

At the pageant held at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, Forbes walked away with Miss Popularity, Most Determined and Best Career Wear in addition to the crown from a field of seven other contestants.

Keje Hendrickson was adjudged first runner up, and also chalked up Miss Poise, Best Intellect and Best Evening Wear categories while second runner up Alyssa Harrigan walked away with Miss Photogenic, People’s Choice and Best Talent.

Contestant number four, Jillian Charles was awarded for Most Personal Development and Miss Congeniality.

The other contestants were: J’Lessa Smith, Robyn Edmonson and Ashley-Marie McCall.

As for Mr. Fifth Form, Jaleel Howe, he beat off five other competitors and took home Best Intellect and Best Talent prizes. Meanwhile, the first runner up spot went to Andres'Stoddard who was the People’s Choice and Mr. Popularity.

Carlos Rodriquez-Turnbull was adjudged second runner up and also carted off Most Photogenic.

Most Determined, Poise and Best Evening Wear went to Tyler Lewis while Most Personal Development, Congeniality and Best Career Wear went to Andres’ Stoddard. The other contestant was Akil Smith.

Mr. and Miss. Fifth Former 2011 was held under the theme: Make the mistakes of yesterday, the lessons for today”.
