‘How you could not like me?’- Karia J. Christopher on facing ‘haters’
“How you could not like me… how?” Christopher rhetorically asked guest Bishop Ishmael P. Charles on the October 14, 2020, episode of her show.
Mrs Christopher said she only realised this ‘despise’ recently, adding that she believed everyone had liked her.

“I am one person who, I don't go to clubs, I don't get in anybody's affairs, I have one man [and] I don't go to anybody else’s man,” she said.
“So, when I heard, figure out…. that yeah, people actually don't like me, I didn't even know how to take it,” she told the Bishop. Mrs Christopher continued, “but now I recognise it, I accept it and I understand that that’s what it is,” she said.
In a previous edition of Real Talk, the host had indicated that she had political aspirations, later calling it a mistake to reveal those intentions to the public, following mixed public reactions.
Bishop Charles remarked that Mrs Christopher was the ‘Oprah’ of the VI, adding that she remains fascinating in their personal friendship.

People hate others just because they are breathing. A person does not have to do a thing for another to hate him or her.
Here is another: Satan and his imps hate all who intend to serve God, who mind their own business and avoid the evil doers ... so, what is new? Satan and his imps even come straight up into your place, the more you run from them the more they follow you ... so, what is new?
Don't get caught up in who don't like you. Pay attention on whether God is pleased with you. Check in with God everyday. Don't mix worldly ways with Godly ways like some people do.
There are some who go for popularity and new age beliefs (promoting the evil eye, third eye, yoga, saging, etc.) to be relevant to people instead of pleasing God. As a public figure, NEVER compromise your Faith.
Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and Godly lives in the present age.
This is how i see it. As long as you love you dont worry about who dont like you. You love you and thats it. I get your point being a public figure and all but there is more to life than wondering or worrying if people like you. Like i say it aint that serious. Bless!
Believe it or not people would hate on you for no reason. As long as you are strong opinionated and can hold your own people who are not as successful will always hate. Keep doing you!!!

I dont think anyone hate on you Karia because you have a talk show. People so call dont like you as you put it because you think you are better than people?
If everyone likes me I would have to worry because then I know something is wrong with me.
I spent last Christmas on Anguilla with my best friend and I went to the grocery store one afternoon and saw a young lady walking (i was told she walks every day after work to keep fit) been doing so for year, she looks great, I thought she was in her late 30's, come to find out she had just turned 50.
Her T. Shirt grabbed my attention.
" Need new Haters, the old one's starting to like me".
People will hate, just live with it.
I really don't care who like me, they don't pay my bills, feed me, clothed me nor give me the strength to get up every day to go and fend for myself.
I don't want a sip of water nor a pint of blood from a man Jack nor a woman Jill, therefore I don't give to kicks who like me or not, that's their stress not mine, I love me, so is the man Christ Jesus .

Perhaps if you could speak correct English, people would be able to understand you better. Then they may get to like you.
Don't know you well enough to not like you, but I do dislike your actions. You seem to roll with the who's in type, you are scared to offend for fear of not being in the IT crowd. I've been at events where you only engage in conversations of the who's who, and not mingle with the everyday joes. If you want a career in politics you will need to learn to mix with those who have and those who don't
