ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Virgin Islands' (VI) Parliament or the House of Assembly (HoA), will continue with the 6th Sitting of the 3rd Session of the 3rd HoA on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 10:00 AM.

The meeting will be held in its refurbish Chambers in Road Town, the Capital city.

HoA spokesman Mr Linton V. Leonard said, “the House will continue in Committee with the Bill entitled, "Mutual Legal Assistance (Tax Matters) (Amendment) Act, 2018.”.

This Bill like many others, have not been brought to the public for input or discussions.

We want elections

Members held an informal session last week to go over some Bills, the public however, is still ‘left in the dark’ as most members themselves do not understand the Bills they are passing.

Residents are also keen for a date when the HoA will be dissolved paving the way for the next General Elections.

The Parliament meeting will be carried live on CBN 90.9 FM the Caribbean Super Station.
