DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- A day after announcing his departure from the Government of National Unity to join Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, former Health Minister Hon Carvin Malone (AL) took his place alongside Opposition Leader Hon Julian Fraser RA in the House of Assembly (HoA) today, June 16, 2022.

Legislators are meeting at Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duff’s Bottom for the continuation of the 3rd Sitting of the 4th Session of the 4th House of Assembly.

Hon Malone, during a press conference on June 15, 2022, said it was in the best interest of himself and the territory, based on his views that may conflict with that of the Unity Government, that he resigns from the coalition government.

He also made it clear he was not bitter he was not given a ministerial portfolio in the coalition government of Premier Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).

Meanwhile, legislators are currently debating the Business licensing Act, 2020.

Leadership is not personalship. it is tough to be a leader. nothing you do after crossing party line is good for the people. Maybe its good for the person crossing part line but never ever for the country. first it show weakness of working out issues, Second trust start to fade and third, the message the people received is never there is a compromise of the people business. silly people

How can Carvin come over to join Fraser when he was out campaigning for the people to vote for Andrew when the V I party had their internal election for leadership.
Remember though they had lemuel Smith in position, Calvin was still the Chairman.
      What a full blown hypocrit.
And by the way hasn't he signed in as part of the unified government,? What loyalty can you see in him? Where is his end of the unity?
The only unity is when he could get the big contracts in one or more of his Companies
He just needs to go. One term as shabbat says.

Bvislanders often come over to be a set of hateful, immature, petty people. Some of you have no strength to stand alone or for anything. It's a sad state of Affairs. Leave the man alone and you focus on yourselves. Love to worry about and criticize people who are way better off than those talking crap on radio.

It is very close to impossible for many normal person of good understanding to believe, much less accepted that the current Premier, Hon. Dr. Natalio Sajande Wheatley, and other members of the VIP Cabinet leaded by the former Premier Andrew A. Fahie were ignorant of some, or probably most of his undemocratic behaviours against the people of the BVI expectation of good governance representation on our behalf.
Hon. Carvin Malone has rightfully crossed the floor, and made the oposition stronger, is now seen by the hypocrite so-called unity government, and it self righteous followers as the outcast one, that has betrayed their selfish plan.
Stay where you are Hon. Carvin Malone. Endure the criticism.
